What I Want
by AishaDiamond,May/09/2020
My ideal man would be attractive, tall, and confident. He would have a muscular chest and sexy eyes. He would be handy. Things like tire changes and oil changes wouldn’t be foreign to him. My ideal man would like sports and shooting guns. He would be a “man’s man” and other guys would love to be around him.
He would have a decent job but he would be the best at his chosen profession. He would have good credit and ideally, no kids still at home. He would be sensual and passionate as well as a protector. His conversation would be witty and thought provoking.
He would make the envy of my girlfriends.
It’s what I want, anyway....even if it’ll never happen.
I guess in this wonderful description should be some substantial details: “....this man reciprocates and cares my well being”
Yeah, it's strange that being able to change oil, shoot guns, be popular among other guys and making your girlfriends jealous and envious come before the really important stuff like what Natasha mentions.
Most of that stuff doesn't even really matter in the long run nor will they make a relationship last or increase the quality of it. It doesn't seem like a recipe for success really. I get the sense that there is, to some degree, a dysfunction of priorities in this area.
I forgot the word “me” in my post.
Wow, Aisha, you want Mr. Perfect rather than just Mr. Right. I would prefer as for myself, Miss./Ms. Loves Me for Who I am. or the woman God provides for me. Now, having said, I think you are asking bit too much that it might never happen. The more you are picky, the less chance you will find him. Just be cool. You may have missed out a chance with someone better than Mr. Perfect. Use your heart, not mind and follow your guts that they could be one. I use prayers and fasting for each one I meet and see if they are the one God provides. There is a good ebook on this subject called, "Are You Sure?" on a Christian church website page full of ebooks this pastor wrote. This deals the subject you are talking about. Its free to read.
