I Need Some Advice and and Answers..?

I need some advice and and answers..?
I met someone here, an Italian guy from Verona, Italy. He's the first one who show some interest to me until we started to make some conversation and he became my bf. We're chatting for 3months.. We talk everyday and both of us are aware of our times. He is very different other guys whom i met in dating sites and chat rooms because this guy was very respectful and has a conservative mind. We have a lot of plans after my college, like I will be go there in Italy to be with him because as of now he can't visit here because he cannot abandoned his work. He often tells me how lucky he is to have me, how much he desires me etc. etc. then time goes on and on.. Then last month maybe on the last week of May, i wasn't able to get online because my mom was busy doing with her paper works and I can't go outside of the house by 12mn(6pm in Italy). Then on the third day, i received a mail from him. He tells me that he casually meet his ex gf and this girl is not lucky as mine in life because she have a lot of family problems and my guy told me that "no one loves her except me".. How does this mean? From the start he spent a lot of times with me for chatting then one day every things changed? Do you think he loves me or I was just became a "REBOUND GIRLFRIEND"?..


I'm still depressed since he left me though we haven't meet in real. :(
