More about me:
It fascinates me to learn about the natural world, and how we got here. The big bang tells an amazing story from our genesis to the here and now. More amazing is how much the details fit reality. From the big bang, to the condensation of hydrogen. The forming of the early stars, and how their death literally gave rise to you and I. That we are all star dust. I find it an un-remarkable, some would say a miraculous story.
I may be a bit of a dreamer, but I have high expectations for myself. I would like to travel the Greek Isles. I hear it's really beautiful there. Ancient history has always appealed to me. I would like to travel to see the Great Pyramid of Giza. As well as the other pyramids. The genius engineering. It astounds me how many people must have died building them, and what for? The Aurora Borealis, named after the Roman Goddess of Dawn, and the Greek name for the north wind. The pictures I have seen of them are enticing! It’s no wonder the Cree referred to them as “the dance of the spirits” I could go on forever about places I plan to visit.
I must admit I’m an Atheist. Then again everyone seems to be when it comes to the Greek God Zeus, the Babylonian god Apsu, or Ganesha the Hindu god of knowledge. Even Baal, the sun god of the Canaanites. Who was later called Beelzebub in the bible. The prince of the demons. Some of us just go one god further... We have always looked for ways to explain the inexplicable. We had a god to carry the sun and moon across the sky. Someone to control the tides of the ocean. Someone for the dead. There are enough breathtaking, wonderful, and marvelous truths out there! The size of the universe, the crab nebula, pulsars and blazars. OJ287 the largest black hole in the universe, which has the mass of 18 BILLION SUNS!!! I find it more awesome to look at the world naturally, than to turn to mysticism.
Somebody once said that “the human voice is the most expressive instrument known to man…it can evoke an enormous amount of emotion” I believe that. I like all kinds of music. Depending on my mood, it varies. I find the piano and violin very elegant. They are my favorite instruments
