Where to start on these things? So, I have been divorced for almost a year after a 14-year marriage.

I have two children, both older. My son is 20 (have had custody of him since he was 2) and my daughter is 14. My son lives with me and my daughter lives with her mom.

I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of great people since I have been single and am fortunate in that regard. However, I am still searching for what I might ultimately be looking for. After being married for 14 years, I still feel a little new to this whole dating thing but what I do know is that I do not want to be a "serial" dater. Dating to me is more of a means to an eventual happy end.

I would like to meet someone that can start out as friends and move into something more substantial. I like to think I am a relatively attractive guy with a lot to offer someone who is willing to accept it. I have a lot of different interests and enjoy going out and having a good time.

I have a demanding but stable professional position which does require a little travel but not too bad.

I enjoy playing sports, travel, poker and watching movies. I like hanging out with my friends and having a good time (we always do). I currently play flag football and have coached youth football in the fall.

What am I looking for?

Mainly someone who has a good sense of humor (even a little sarcastic), intelligence and has interests beyond going to a bar every night. Also, someone who is cute, considerate and just an overall nice person. But isn't that really what everyone is looking for?
