More about me:

Before I continue I just want to say that I just want to make new friends. I'm not opposed to dating someone right now, but my schedule doesn't allow a lot of time for it.

I'm a nerd/geek. I read reams of pages of a relished english novel for hours and hours and I still have enough time to pop in my favorite rpg - the forerunner is anything from the Final Fantasy series - and the button mash my way to a generously well designed, storyboarded and sanitarily written outcome by Hironobu Sakaguchi. Fun times.

I guess I'm a bit more outgoing than the classic 'nerd' type. I have a habit of shooting my mouth off and speaking of nothing in particular. The most interesting part is people listen for, like, hours to what I have to say. But I also enjoy listening to what others have to say. I'm a fan of understanding - and if I like what the they have to say, embracing - opinions that differ from my own.

One other thing: I'm a big guy. Mostly muscular. Though, I'm an interesting hodgepodge of both chubby and muscular with leanings more toward the althletic side. Well ... ok I'm making it sound more complex. My roommate - god knows I think she's awesome - I think is totally has a crush on me, but whatever. So yeah, I'm more of the type that looks great in a muscle shirt because it complements the broader physique and thicker arms. I would expect as much as I do work out 3 to 4 (sometimes five) times a week.

Outside of flapping my larynx around and quoting movies and Shakespeare and working out, I like to get as often as I can to catch a movie with my buds or to just ... go out. I love going on long walks and maybe I'll go out for the occasional jog. I love fresh air. I love the outdoors. I acutally want to go camping sometime in the near future just to be near a site that has stretches of unpaved kilometers that I challenge myself to hike. Other outdoorsy interests include the smell of fresh cut grass, biking 'till my thigh muscles burn and just getting out to feel the fresh sunshine on my tanned skin.

I also love books! I recently had to get rid of a number of books from my collection because I simply had too many! I'm still finishing Oliver Twist by the famous 18th century author of social reform: Charles****ns! English novels get me going like ... well let's not get into that. But I take in and admire the written word of all the greats: The aforementioned Charles ****ns, H.G. Wells, Goethe, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen ... blah blah blah. But - and this is important - I want to expand. I want some direction in what authors lead the forefront on philosophy, comptemporary social reform, fiction, world events and so on. I want to meet a person that can force me to rise from centuries old writings and GET WITH THE TIMES! Anyway, I hope all you other smarties are reading this.

Personably, I'm also try to be sensitive and empathetic. I've found that I actually like watching good romantic comedy or romance if I have somebody to watch it with. Embarassingly enough, I was actually watching The Notebook with my roommate: I actually cried! Twice! What can I say? It was good! It touched me! But it's part of my nature: I need to understand the world around from different perspectives which means, to me, to absorb more than just popular culture and sit com idioms.

There are 4 rules that are the foundation of my personality:

1. You can do it!
2. There's always hope!
3. Keep it simple.
4. Never forget who you are.

Also, a warning, I like star wars, Lord of the Rings, ancient and medieval history, Greek history and I have a general interest in mythology. That' right: NERD. Love it or hate it.

Side note: Hippies are hot. Conservatives are not. Learn that well.
