I'm looking for a serious relationship. It seems too many people get to a certain point and they start taking each other for granted. I don't believe this happens when you find the right person. I recently graduated college with an associate's degree in Sonography (Ultrasound). I will soon be looking for a job in the Columbus/Delaware area but I'm leaving my options open. In my spare time (which has been virtually non-existent this past two years) I enjoy playing/writing music and the occasional dvd rental.I read and study various topics that interest me and I usually work out enough to stay in reasonable shape. I'm no Greek God, but I don't resemble a couch potato either. I currently live in Gallipolis where there are few job opportunities and if you don't hunt, fish, or go mud runnin' then you've lost a big social network. I'm not big on the bar scene here either, although I love Cafe Bourbon Street in Columbus.
I'm a hopeless romantic, but not a fool. I want to find someone who walks into a room and makes everyone else disappear. I don't think that's too much to ask for. Someone who makes a trip to the grocery store fun. Too many people with sticks up their asses these days who look like the life has been sucked out of them. Just wait till they get old and realize how much of their youth was wasted pissing and moaning.

About my ideal partner:

I want someone who is both an intelligent speaker and a good listener. Someone who can be my lover and my best friend. Someone who is honest, loyal, compassionate and understanding. Someone who can walk into a room and make all the other women become invisible. Someone who is not now, nor ever was a whore/bar slut. Sorry to put it out there like that, but if you can entertain sex with someone you don't even know then I can't trust you, and I'm not interested in wasting years of my life entertaining fake love or being your boy toy. I'm looking for something more deep and meaningful. If you can make a trip to the grocery store interesting and create your own entertainment without the need for props and grandiose arrangements to do it for you, then we will get along great. If you are creative, a hopeless romantic, music/poetry/movie lover, keep yourself reasonably fit and enjoy long, deep conversations with lots of hugs and kisses then I'm your man. Due to previous experience, I no longer date women with kids. It's nothing personal to the moms, but having no legal rights as a boyfriend means that if the relationship doesn't work out, the kids suffer and I suffer too. I'm not going down that road anymore.
