About me:
I am someone who is trying to make the best of their life, and would like to find someone who shares that same goal. I also like to stay busy. I'm not saying I'm a workaholic, but I don't want to just sit on the couch all day! I need at least some mental stimulation on most days.

I can definitely be pretty nerdy, so I figure I should throw that out there since it seems to be a pretty big issue for some people...and perhaps a plus to others. ;)

My ideal match would be someone who takes care of her body, doesn't smoke, doesn't have children already, doesn't do drugs, isn't a complete bum and appreciates brains.. I'm looking for someone who is genuine, respectful, and trustworthy.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor's degree in computer science. Due to the nature of my work as a software engineer I spend 8 hours per day on a computer at least, so it's definitely a good thing that I enjoy computers as much as I do. Another thing I absolutely love is to sing! I will sing along with a song in the car about 90% of the time if I know the song and feel comfortable singing it! If I had the opportunity to join a band (as a vocalist), it's very possible that I would take it.

I love a lot of music! I can't really narrow it down to a genre at all, so explaining it without just giving a laundry list of bands is kind of difficult. I like easy-listening music, but can also definitely enjoy a lot of classic rock, alternative rock, and even some older country songs from when I was younger.
