I like the simple life. I love to be outdoors and like walking, particularly near water. I'm keen on birdwatching and wildlife in general. I love animals and am thinking about getting another dog at present. Life has been hard but I'm still hopeful and love to laugh. I had a daughter who was killed in an accident when she was 14 (18 years ago) and have had quite a lonely struggle since then and have been sad. I love young people and my greatest friends are now my daughter's friends who have kept me ticking over - they bring me joy and so much love and affection. I am intelligent and love looking things up and have a good command of English and reasonable knowledge of French and Spanish. Am generally interested in what is going on in the world! I like to cook and make cakes when I'm sad! I had a fall last year and broke a vertebra in my lumbar spine, I did this at the gym trying to get fitter and slimmer ! I'm 5'8", curly hair, hazel eyes, strongly built and rather shy and withdrawn. Like rock music and blues. Enjoy a pint in a pub and anything informal.I love football, rugby, tennis and cricket. I played tennis until recently.
