More about me:
I am born geek who is into horror movies, comics and video games. Don't worry if that isn't your bag as I don't let those things define me. I can be very shy when you first meet me, but if you give it a chance you'll find that I am very intelligent, I have a good sense of humor and I always treat the people in my life with respect and honesty. Above all I would say that I am an easy going guy who is looking for love in his life.
I really enjoy learning new things. If something doesn't challenge me I tend to get bored. I spent a good 13 years in college and I learned more than is healthy about science, technology and engineering while getting degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in the process.
I work for the government, but I can't tell you what I do **cough**secret agent**cough**
The first thing you'll notice about me is that I am really quiet until I get to know you a little, and once I do you'll find that I have a healthy sense of humor and I'm fun to hang out with.
The last things I've read were a few books by Chuck Palahniuk (Survivor, Choke were my favorite). I also enjoy the works of Neil Gaiman (Neverwhere, Anansi Boys, Sandman) and most anything by Stephen King. I wish I had time to read more and, as a result, I listen to a lot of audio books while driving into work.
I love movies. Especially bad horror and zombie movies. I will watch anything once. My favorite movies are The Big Lebowski and Fight Club. Making a list of the movies you like seems to be the thing to do around here so here goes in no particular order: Sunshine, The Losers, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, The Hangover, Shaun of the Dead, Iron Man, Resident Evil, Event Horizon, Zoolander, Repo The Genetic Opera, Spaceballs, South Park BL& U, Constantine, Lord of War, Lord of the Rings and many many more...
I don't watch nearly as much TV as I used to. Even with a DVR there isn't much that I find compelling enough to try to watch week in and week out since Lost ended. Some of my favorites all time, however, are: Picket Fences, Buffy, Angel, Its Always Sunny, Six Feet Under, The Wire, LOST, Burn Notice, Farscape, The Venture Bros.
I am a Patriots fan. Football is the only sport I watch religiously because there aren't a bazillion games in a season and the games are for the most part regularly scheduled. I will catch a game at Fenway when I can, but mostly I'll only pay attention when playoff time rolls around.
You should contact me if you're winning. If you want to hang out, get dinner, see a movie or just engage in awkward silence. If you think we have something in common.
