Well, what is there to say? Here I am, 44 years old and single, looking for love or at least some affection on another dating site...I don't go out a whole lot these days, but when I do, I like to go to the bar and have a couple drinks where I can listen to some live music. I live in Dinkytown, so the Kitty Cat Klub fits that bill for me. When I'm at home I'm usually curled up with a book, or trying my hand at some writing. I've written a couple hundred poems and am about 1/2 way through first attempt at a novel. In the exercise department, I like to ride my bicycle quite a bit.
Personality wise, I'd say I'm somewhat soft-spoken, more of a listener than a talker---at least at first. Don't get my wrong, I can hold up my end of the conversation if the topic interests me. I'm loyal, affection, thoughtful, and consider myself intelligent, but am of the opinion that intelligence is over-rated.
I'm looking for a gal who doesn't take herself too seriously, someone who isn't too materialistic, knows how to have a good time and laugh without having to go out and spend a fortune. I prefer brown or green eyes, but I'm a sucker for a pretty face and its more just a read of your whole face that'll hook me or lose me. Body type isn't too important to me, that is to say that I don't mind a few extra pounds, but only a few!

About my ideal partner:

Someone who is creative, non-materialistic, doesn't take themselves too seriously, can laugh and have a good time with simple pleasures.
As I mentioned above, I prefer brown or green eyes, but it's more of a read of your whole face that will either hook me or lose me.
