Hi ladies, All the honey and sweetness in the world will get us nowhere if things aren't solid. I'll let you judge me when we go out as far as being nice and smart and yadda yadda. The meat and potatoes is that I own my house, I have no debt, I'm a single father -w- custody of my beautiful 17yo daughter and I've had the same good paying job for 14 years now. I'm in good shape and reasonably attractive. I have no tattoos or piercings. These are the same qualities I'll be looking for in a woman. I don't do drugs and don't like drugs. If you even occasionally use please spare me the time. Can you say deal breaker? This would include legally prescribed drugs for things like adhd or depression. If you need a pill, joint, or drink to get out of bed, I don't think we'd be a good match.I know my profile sounds harsh. It's probably stopped some from replying. Even people who aren't on meds. I'm not denying the fact that depression or any other brain disorder is real. I think they are. The reason I've put these things on my don't list is because I've been in past relationships with people who've had these maladies and have had bad experiences. I realise that posting this doesn't stop undiagnosed people from responding so it's not a complete filter, but it helps. It also doesn't stop people who use illegal drugs from lying. What it's designed to do is to be as complete a screen as I can get on a free internet dating site. I'm not looking for someone who's the most beautiful, or the most brilliant. I have to admit looks and brains help, but a level headed person without a bunch of baggage is my main requirement. Past experience has taught me you're less likely to be "that" person if you need these drugs. There are even people who convince doctors to give them drugs just to get high even though they don't need them. I'm trying to weed them out. I hope this helps you understand. I'm just not putting up with it anymore if I can help it.
I'm not looking for online relationships. I want to meet people, so passing notes just won't cut it This includes texting. I don't mind a couple. If all you do is correspond via text we're not a good match. If I'm writing you it's because I liked your profile. If you respond you should be ready for me to ask you out and be ready to go or give me a polite no thank you. If you don't like what you see, I'll be moving on.
