My description will show me as separated. My wife, whom I married on July 27th 2012 is now in a Hospice , terminally ill, with brain tumours.
This has affected her mentally, so that the person I visit most days is a child, mentally if not physically.
Before she became really ill, we discussed the future, and she agreed that I should continue with my life, and enjoy it as much as possible.
With this in mind I am resuming 'dating' if there are people brave enough to take me on.
I am physically active, playing cricket and Morris dancing. I play chess and bridge, read a lot, cycle, walk. I enjoy pubs, eating out, but not overseas travel. There is too much in England I have yet to see. I prefer to camp, but dont mind occasional luxury.
I dont drive, never have, thus I need to meet people on public transport routes, or within cycling distance, 15 miles or so. However I am happy to travel anywhere for the right person. I am financially secure, am currently on leave of absence from work, so have time to spare. I am in the painful process of giving up smoking, at long last! I suck unhappily on an electronic dummy!
