I am easy to meet and a good listener. Most see me as a warm and positive, up-beat, huggable guy who laughs easily and can laugh at himself as well.
Wines and foods have been a principal hobby for over 35 years and I enjoy cooking for someone special. As an incurable romantic, I visualize a sunset walk on the beach while our Moroccan Lamb shanks slowly simmer, awaiting our company with a delicious, medium bodied, Pinot Noir from Central Otago.
Your two legged and four legged family and friends quickly warm to me as I do to them. They instinctively understand that I am 'one of the good guys' who doesn't look or behave 'scary.'
Quiet evenings at or near home, board games, reading our latest books of interest, in quiet, comforting companionship is far more enjoyable than clubbing in a smoke filled, noisy bar.
Friends know me as curious, creative and often willing to try and learn new things.
How many Yanks have you met who enjoyed NZs All Black beat the arrogant French team in the last Rugby World Cup?? It was loads of fun cheering them on.
My interest in NZ stems from many observations about your lovely country.
Kiwis are excellent stewards of their lands and water. Polluting is as foreign to the average Kiwi as Martians would be. NZ government and central bank is not about printing more paper and calling it 'money.' Therefore the NZ$ is long term stable.
Born in the ‘year of the horse,’ 2014 is my next 'horse' year. It is my intent to locate marketing employment with a firm which is promoting NZ foods and wines or NZ tourism. My background as an ad agency creative director well qualifies me to do so. This will enable a work visa leading to long-term residency.
Spending that last 25 years or so of my happy life, in your lovely country, with a lovely life partner to share all of life goodies with is my conscious reality.
