Was looking for something different to start a new year, so thought I would try this.

I am not you normal run-of-the-mill girl! The wheelchair is a fact of life, as are the crutches! These aids do not define me, they are just a means to get around.

I actually read as my huge library (well over 4000 books) testifies. I have a huge range of interests and can talk the hind leg off a donkey :lol:

My latest hobby is restoring vintage sewing machines, mainly people powered models. There is something magical about transforming a seized up, rusty lump of cast iron to a full functioning work of art :)
