More about me:

I am a true blue, down home family man. Family & friends are the most important things to me. I took care of mom for the entire duration of her 8 year battle with breast cancer; she joined my father in May 2011. During those 8 years, I ended up losing touch with who I am as an individual, and have since then been regaining that part of my life.
Along the way I’ve had a few relationships that just didn’t work out; my best friend passed away, and have seen some pretty grey days. On the plus side I am the proud father of twins (boy and girl) who just graduated high school this year, and are heading off to college! I also have a wonderful 13 year old son I have shared custody with- his mother and I are on good terms (no baby mama drama). I’ve always been one to believe that all things happen for a reason, and the lessons we learn because of those situations help us to become better people. Seeing these ups and downs have made me realize the importance of showing people you care. Family and friends, that’s where it’s at! 8)
