We haven't met yet. I've been lonely here without you. I've been trying to build myself into a stronger, more Godly man. Waiting for you to come into my life when He deems the time. Wondering where to start looking for you.

I hope you'll let me be your friend and confidante. That you'll confide in me, and tell me everything about you. That your past makes you strong, and that you are genuinely interesting. I long for you to tell me about you, and I hope you enjoy learning about me as much as I do you. I seek conversation, and companionship above all else.

I wonder what you might be doing. If you're playing a game after a long day at work. Maybe longing for a hug, or for someone to smile at you when you get home. Looking for someone to share your life with. I wonder if your soul is as beautiful, scarred and broken as my own. If it is, I don't mind helping put it back together, and wrapping my arms around it to keep it in one piece. Underneath all of that pain you've been through, I wonder if there would be an artist, a singer, perhaps someone that loves to cook. A woman that wants to fulfill God's Will.

Whatever trials you are going through, I wish I was there to hold you and tell you it's okay.

I hope you like romance. Dates, dinners and massages. Walking hand in hand, be it down a snowy city street or a sandy beach. Sitting underneath a big tree and an endless, starry sky. Simple things too, such as cuddling on the couch and watching Plex in our Pj's with hot cocoa, and maybe homemade cookies. Kisses and cuddles under the blankets. Foot rubs and hot baths on cold winter nights.


Being the Bible-believing man that I am, nothing to me is more romantic than the Song of Solomon. As a man in love, I would be honored to recite it for you, straight from the King James. I hope we get to grow in our faith together... Under the guidance of Jesus and His love. A love that led Him to die for all of us.
