It was a beautiful day. The birds were singing, and the suns rays broke through the clouds as if they were racing for the finish line. However, it was morning time so the day was just starting. As i sat on the knife knicked park bench, i couldn't help but to notice 2 names etched in it with perfection. The names were Mine and Yours, encompassed in a heart that had a tiny crack. I wondered, was the heart broken, or was it mended. The world was starting to wake up. When i lifted my head, my attention was then redirected to the dew covered grass. In the grass was a whole other world. Crickets chirped, dragonflies hovered and the field of flowers began to bloom. As i looked to my left, a different field of flowers were blowing in the breeze. The colors were vibrant and hypnotizing. The sensation was strange because the flowers were swaying from left to right, the strange thing is, there wasnt the slightest of breeze. Curious.....i decided to approach the field flowers to find out why the mysterious movement. To my amazement, what appeared to be flowers were actually a bunch of dead and leafless bushes bearing the life of butterflies. Millions of butterflies, dancing on the tips of the twigs. I was home. A tear drop fell from my eye and hit the ground but it was enough to shake the earth and make the butterflies launch from where they layed. I was now in a kaleidoscope of colors. Thats when the Monarch became a part of my heart..........life is deeper then what the sight can see........now i wonder..........were the names in the bench Mine and Yours, really You and me😊
