I am the father of three; two girls, 20 and 18, and one boy, 8. My girls are adopted from my ex wife because their biological father left them. "step child" is not part of my vocabulary. They are my girls and I love them every inch as much as my son. I don't see any difference between them.
I have spent a long career in Emergency Medical Service and Fire. I have been a paramedic for about 13 years now with 7 years prior as a fire fighter and an EMT. As such, family and community are very important to me. I have spent my adult life giving to and sacrificing for others.
Recently two major things have happened in my life. One, I have become divorced and two, I have entered into an accelerated nursing program. This means that I am, once again a student, striving to better myself.
As such, I have limited time and limited assets to pursue a relationship. My ex and I had a plan to address this when we left Colorado. That plan has not happened and I am now left creating a new plan on my own. I know this compiles a great deal of baggage and would probably leave anyone wanting to just by pass this page and move on. I wouldn't blame you. I would however, like to remind you that I started this out stating that I am just looking for friends. I don't know many people in Missouri having left all I know in Colorado and I have lost much since coming here.
I am however, loyal, hard working and intelligent. If you will be my friend, I will be yours. If something else comes of it then I will be open to that. If not, I will always be your friend
