More about me:
it is to connect with someone in the far far away of cyber land, I'm here because I'm a dreamer and have never stopped believing in the momentum of possibilities. It’s hard finding someone who you can care about, like, respect and love let alone the physical embodiment of the ideal woman. I'm looking for someone good natured, other directed. She knows and practices compassion. (Does it hurts your heart to see others suffering, children, the elderly, the disadvantaged?) The one I'm looking for is a functional, mature woman, someone to whom material stuff is a lesser priority compared to family, friends and community. And the company of someone compatible whom I complement, share key values and interests (including good ole fashioned romance, the sentimental variety, Hallmark and Harlequin… optional); that’s my anticipation and wish fulfillment. Give me passion, the sweetness of being in love and let me wake, just one day again, turn to witness the sunshine of my life
I'm encouraged and attracted to benign intelligence and sensitivity. But, what's most compelling (and rare these days) are traits of vulnerability, compassion for others, charity, humility. So much of what's emphasized in this venue has to do with disqualification, as in "no__ or needs to be___"; as if there's anyone without baggage or faults. I believe the greatest gift a woman can give to a man is to make him want to be better. After a number of near misses, disastrous forays into the absurd, ultimately flawed but nearly perfect beginnings (according to the design I've mentioned)I have in mind a blue print of the ideal woman...She's sort of a Frankenstein's Bride. I expect to discover someone of many parts, self fashioned and whole. The science of her being doesn't need to be miraculous, but instead practical and progressive. I want someone who reaches for me in the night, someone I ache to be with when we're apart, but who has her own life. And I'm less concerned about your body image than I am about the shape of your heart.I'm not exactly a tree hugger or a bleeding heart when it comes to charitable causes. But, when I look back on my life, it seems I've been actively working to improve the world since I was a child. We didn't just happen by accident and I believe we've been hard wired to be altruistic. That said, I believe it's important we be deliberate, work hard to build and add to a legacy of moral strength in our society. I'd like to meet someone who embraces the divinity within, who cares about people, the environment, animals; someone who recognizes that there's a greater reward in bringing smiles, giving to and helping others. I'm Southern breed and fully embrace the old school values of the civil rights generation; particularly courtesy, respect for women, and that thing about equal rights for everyone. I enjoy simple things and come from a very humble background. It doesn't occur to me to play anyone false. So, I always try to be truthful in my purpose and my words. I've earned masters degrees in two disciplines and a bachelors in a third. But, I value the education imparted by the poets, prophets, our ancestors above anything I've gotten from books and the classroom. 4 favs: Whitman, Thoreau, MLK, Jimmy Carter.
