To honest and respectful ladies.
I am a single intelligent man, though not overly desperate or lonely, would like to share my life with an honest real genuine Lady with no games. Semi-retired, divorced since 1976. So there is time to spend together with that someone special.

You may notice the lack of traits in this profile, often posted on profiles. Fact is they rarely exist all at once. Instead I promote the real life honesty encompassed within this unavoidable truth: I may not be perfect, but don't need to be. Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away. Enjoyment activities.
I enjoy walking thru town & putting smiles on kids faces with a Santa wave, so I have a Santa-like beard. Hope you like it Ok. It is a natural part of a man, in the very same manner as a women's natural head hair.

Its fun to go to places like Thrift stores, Flea markets, Swap meets, Farmers markets and Garage sales. While what I should do is sell my stuff, but its still fun to sort thru and look around for stuff to buy. Never know! is my downfall.

Like walks around and near lakes, bays, ocean and rivers or just woodsy places endowed with beautiful nature, which is my spiritual world. Love the San Juan Ferry rides in the fall. The water & greenery is amazingly breathtaking. Likewise the Botanical Gardens in the Washington Park Arboretum is simply amazingly beautiful in the spring. Care to go take a look Lady? Good local place for first place to meet or anytime.

Just relaxing and enjoying the company of a woman I feel good about, no matter if its, out in public or at home in private, is equally pleasurable.

Friends & Lovers. What "friends & lovers" means. It IS NOT the approaches made by gals who are solely seeking mere physical pleasure interactions to prove their self-worth after a divorce, hookups, and those who try to get favors/goods/$ in return somehow NOR approaches made by guys solely to get physical pleasure interaction from gals.

It IS really why we are here on this dating website. We feel lonely and are participating in a dating website seeking to connect with a person of the opposite seax. What Friends means is straight forward: Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people. The meaning of Lovers can get twisted. It is a special and unique bond
between both loving partners. A major dating site, POF, took the lead explaining in an advanced profile section: “RELATIONSHIP NEEDS ASSESSMENT” where there's a specific section entitled “Seaxuality”:

“Seaxuality refers to your needs (frequency, boundaries, expressions) related to physical intimacy. * * * Bottom line: you need someone who regards seax as a meaningful bond between people in love & who appreciates being the center of attention in the bedroom.” Thank You, POF! This reflects a major part of the meaning of Lovers as opposed to a meaningless hello, jump in the sack, do a quicky, then so long.

One related point. Being the humans we are, friends & lovers includes more: Mutual & respectful physical relationship interests between M & F potential partners, should be a fully open subject for discussion.

Each of us should seek someone who likes being friends & get to know each other until we BOTH feel we are ready to move forward, not just get another person to jump into bed.

Mature adults know the difference from a hit & run "fast one" and making love together with mutual respect. The latter is my sole choice. Also, since your likely looking for your best friend and lover who'll have your back covered and you can trust, do know your reading his profile now.

So given the further truth that mature persons may elect to do what they choose, be it known I am in search of the real kind of monogamous relationship which sustains time and makes one smile, during the day, about something we or either of us said or did.

I am father of one son, with 2 sons. 2x granddad. Navy moves him around lots so not see them much.

Educated in business marketing and management. Currently engaged in a new business venture startup which takes some time. I often am forced to shut down my computer to get things done that need to get done.
