Hello,
I'm Jim. At age 57, I've held up pretty well. I exercise regularly--well, fairly regularly :wink:--and I still enjoy the adrenaline rush that follows a good workout.

I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees at Indiana State University, where I was elected to membership in the honor societies of Phi Alpha Theta and Phi Kappa Phi.

I am academically oriented and enjoy the pursuits that implies: reading, writing, good conversation, and politics. For all that serious minded stuff, however, I do know how to have fun. :shock: :D I have many interests, but Nascar is not--and will never be--one of them.

I should mention here that I am politically active. I am a dyed in the wool liberal who supports the Democratic party and am not a fan of our current president. That said, I have always gotten along quite well with others who don't share my beliefs, be they political, religious, social, philosophical, and whether or not the government faked the moon landing, etc.

Finally, family is very important to me. Although they are gone now, my Mom and Dad are in my heart every day. I have a great sister and three terrific nephews--who got to 18 much faster than it seemed I did. :wink: And I just got a new grand niece. The cycle goes on.

A smart, intellectually oriented, passionate, adventurous, liberal, libidinous, independent, strong-willed older woman who would have a better chance of naming the current justices of the Supreme Court than she would the cast of "Friends, " wouldn't vote for Trump at gunpoint and has no idea what Nascar is.
