Born Dec. 19, 1930...Belzoni, MS...Recently known as "The Catfish Capital of the World" Moved to Mobile AL in 1943 (Wartime WWII) at age 12...Paper route, bowling alley, soda jerk...Wartime housing had "ice box" no refrigerators, 1st crack at entrepreneurial life, buy ice at distribution freezer house and sell it in the neighborhood...move to Pascagoula, MS...graduate High School 1948...Houston, TX 1949, Western Electric...1951, U S Navy, became electrician...Ingalls Shipbuilding all of 1955 as electrician, along with practicing the art of selling cars on credit, financing them myself...maybe all that learning was equal to a college degree, however, I received no diploma!!...Then I did gain knowledge in 1956-1958 working for a nationwide finance company as an outside repo man...Beat up and put in jail, I got away from them and practiced the used auto parts biz for a few years and in 1962 bought a drive-in picture show business in Bayou La Batre, AL...How great the money was...how poor the time off was...Sold biz in 1971 for a generous profit, started selling Cemetery Lots...Very good income selling...The lifestyle of the cemetery owners made me think I should be an owner too...Wrong!! I bought one and sold it, lost my shirt...Along about 1970 I started purchasing delinquent tax property from State of Alabama, selling and financing it myself...High price, low down pmt, low pmts...It worked then and keeps on working...Have built a respectable biz..."I love what I do, and I do what I love" I'm still working at this job every day and never intend to retire full time...Soon I'm goin to take time to see those wonderful Rocky Mountains again after many times, and anticipate seeing them time and time again... I enjoy good health and good thoughts...no smoke or drugs...eat moderately, and drink socially, not excessive...IT IS rare that a person is a workaholic at my age, but the secret is...I love my work, and exercise, and dancing...it all goes together ...that I enjoy good health...and I thank the LORD above for all the blessings...I can only guess what age I should say I feel, but a minus 25 should be a pretty good estimate...
My soul partner and true love recently was claimed by the effects of tobacco and depression, and I sorely miss her...Seventeen years of love and compatibility, gone so quickly...Say that age is just a number...it is, and is not...depending upon circumstances...Say that an aged person has a very short time to live, or that it may extend out for a very long time...Both can be correct...
The lady that I would like to become associated with and become attached to mentally, physically and spiritually, ..(I call it LOVE) is the lady who would honor and respect me as I would her, living our lives in the "now" time, enjoying and loving each other, trying to ignore our past hurts, sorrows, and misfortunes...
I'm looking for a lady to share the time I have left and enjoy the fruits and the wonderful sights this world has to offer...To share my life, my love and my assets...All the time hoping for a long, long, long time together...but each person has dozens upon dozens of decisions to make when choosing to associate with another, and photos are great in the selection process, but back and forth communication is essential , and I strongly believe that everyone should ask and answer questions from the other and try to determine what the facts are...Modern phones are instant disconnect and should be used appropriately...Talk awhile and maybe never again...Judge and be judged...REPEATING: Soon I'm goin to take time to see those wonderful Rocky Mountains again after many times, and anticipate seeing them with some lady that I really admire and respect and doing it time and time again...Wanna go?...Charles
