I'd describe myself as romantic. I'm particularly fond of vivid orange or red sunsets, and quiet, moonlite evenings. I believe that the joys of life were meant to be shared! I'm interested in the outdoors (camping by a quiet lake, watching the brilliant orange sunsets, hiking in the woods), flying (I'm a pilot and airplane flight instructor, and owned an antique 1940 2-seat Taylorcraft), photography (butterflies and waterfalls are my current passions), travel (I've visited all 7 continents), theater (Neil Simon and Gilbert & Sullivan are my favorites), museums (especially science and natural history), cooking (Italian is my specialty), Trivial Pursuit, and much more! I'm half-Italian and half-Irish, 5'10" tall, age 56, with black hair and beard. During the last couple of years I traveled to Japan, China, Hawaii, Russia, Brazil and various continental US destinations.
