I have decided that there must be more to life than going down to the pub to meet the lads on a regular basis, there are places to go and adventures to be had, I just need a partner in crime!
I am a sociable, affectionate, tactile bloke and although I can be on the quiet side to begin with, that swiftly changes as I get to know people. I spent many years in the Royal Navy, so have a 'robust' sense of humour, but I should imagine everyone on here has a 'GSOH'! I enjoy live music, theatre, or just a quiet meal in a country pub after a walk along the coast, while thinking to myself 'thank Christ I don't have to go out there anymore!' I also enjoy getting around town on my bike; yup, I'm the bloke that holds the traffic up. Don't like shopping though, sorry about that, I'd only get in the way anyway, but you could always leave me in the man creche.

I'm looking for someone who is willing to put up with the above first and foremost! I'm aware I'm not a Brad or Gorgeous George, and I'm not looking for Miss World, just someone who enjoys what life has to offer, can hold a decent conversation, and is as happy in jeans, tee - shirt and trainers as she is in a posh frock, ready to go to the posh restaurant that I promised we'd visit weeks ago!
