Someone once said, "It's not the life in your years that counts, but the years in your life." I heard the phrase several years ago, and since then it's been my personal mantra. I've always loved finding myself in new, exciting places doing new, exciting things, pushing myself out of my comfort zone just a little bit more every time. From parasailing in the Caribbean to hiking in the Rockies in the middle of a hailstorm, I have an unquenchable thirst for adventure. I love being out in nature, whether scaling a mountain or just going for a nice, relaxing walk basking in the evening sun. That doesn't mean I don't know how to relax, though. Sometimes, just spending time with a special someone while enjoying a nice wine can be just as exciting.
