I'm not Mr GQ, but then again, I'm not looking for that either. I am looking for a friend that I hope can turn into a long-term relationship (LTR), and realize it starts off with dating... and I hate first dates ... but I refuse to do the bar scene, so here I am. I am all about honesty only and require the same of you... I can deal with skeletons in your closet (after all, everyone has a past) but I cannot and will not deal with lies. If you are looking for JUST a friend and nothing more, please skip me. I am looking for eventually, a mate, lover and partner in life.
I am constantly told that I look at least 10 years younger than I am... and I guess that's how I feel also.
I do quite a bit of traveling (international AND domestically) and enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people.
I don't watch TV, occasionally Netflix. I am not much into sports but am fine if you are.
I write occasionally, mostly poetry in prose form, and have been published quite a few times. I like pretty much ANY kind of music, except rap (Soul, R&B, Gospel and jazz are all in the same garbage category), which isn't really music anyway. I like the symphony, live/theatrical shows, Cirque du Soleil, TSO and the like.
I have dated much younger and much older than myself, so age is not a factor for me as long as you have the maturity and character to be a reasonable and down-to-earth person.
I work out 4-6X/week to stay healthy (I weigh 200 lbs).
I am fairly conservative in standards and values but enjoy an occasional trip to the 'wild side'. Although I do not have any piercings or tattoos (my needle phobia), I don't care if you have them. If you are a prude, please skip me... I need someone ready for an adult, mature relationship.
I will not go back and forth with endless messages on this site so if you are not ready to exchange phone numbers after a few messages, at least to text, relatively soon, pass me by. There is no reason not to, since it is so easy to block someone if you are no longer interested.
If you are looking for a Sugar-Daddy, keep looking. I won't be giving you money or paying your bills.
And please be within 45 minutes of me... I can't do a long distance thing. Cleveland is probably too far... unless you are willing to travel.

PPS- what is it with so many of you that say there are no good men out here (that frustrates me) ... don't skip me just because I don't look like a GQ model, especially if you don't either. You won't be disappointed.
