Enjoy the many venues in Metro Detroit including MOT, DSO, The Fisher, Mexican Village, Memphis Smoke, The Gem, Ridley's, The Baldwin, Mario's, DIA on a Friday evening, Baker's for Jazz, breakfast at Russell Street, PlanetAnt, A2 Art Fairs, Renaissance Festival, CityFest, Meadowbrook for concerts, Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons, U-M football, Andiamo's, and a car cruise or two. Have taken dance lessons (East Coast Swing & Salsa). Have taken golf lessons and even played (kind of sort of) a couple of times.

It has been over 33 years since I began my chosen profession. Along the way I've earned (well I earned the funds to pay for each one myself. LOL) a few degrees. Financially I am stable and debt free. The house and both cars are paid in full.

Volunteering is something I have always played a major part of my life. What I have done the longest is teach religious ed once a week. The past 12 years it has been with Autistic children or those with Downs Syndrome. Prior I volunteered with non-special need children for over six years. Also deliver food to seniors for a Detroit based organization. Have participated in the AIDS walk, help raise funds for Special Need children yearly, adopt a family at Christmas since 1978, and worked a booth a few times at various festivals.

Have one daughter (25 y.o.) that is living out of state and is in school. She works and pays her own way. One sister living in Tennessee with her family. The divorce was painless and handled efficiently without any attorneys. No drama.
