Having lived on L.I. all my life, I packed it up...left family & friends behind to venture further south...although I miss the cooler temperatures, the changing colors of fallen leaves & even the snow (built one last snowman before I left), I have survived two winters here...

It's been quite a change & challenge for this New York Woman...no Italian bakery! Nor a deli....& pizza? BUT, I'm Italian & make my own sauce...

I still haven't skinny dipped here & the weather is great for that!!!!!!

I love all types of music except rap & heavy metal...walks, dinners with conversations for two, laughing, grilling, sunsets, gardening, movies, reading, singing, flea markets, estate sales, theme parks, am writing a book...snuggling & kissing...romantic & passionate & although it's not a hobby, I enjoy chasing my partner around the house in the buff...I'm not a fast runner so it's a guarantee I'd be caught everytime!!!

The activities here are so different from Long Island as the weather doesn't warrant but a few months there for outdoor fun.... I'm willing to try & learn if you're willing to teach me...

But how can you put into several sentences what one is about or what you're seeking in a partner for life's journey...for it takes two people with a common interest that connects them, forming a friendship first ... built on honesty, respect & trust...learning about each other... laughter, sharing conversations, faith, interests.... yours, mine & the ones we find together... popping popcorn & watching a movie cuddled beside each other...taking walks.. holding hands...cooking together & sharing it by candlelight...stolen kisses...the anticipation of seeing the other...hugs...sharing a glass of wine while watching a sunset...or coffee as the sun rises after being up all night talking.... believing.... dreaming.. looking at someone & knowing that you're home & safe with this person...you belong...you fit.... you compliment each...support each other... that each day is a blessing given walking side by side equal to each...the feeling in your heart when you realize you're in love...

It's midnight...I've lost my slipper...do you have the one that will fit perfectly....these can be the best years of our lives..
