More about me:

I used to be good at writing these things. I would go out of my way to write a nice, long paragraph about my likes, dislikes, interests, hopes and dreams. I don't think most people really read it, though. I'm probably one of the few who does. For those few curious souls who would like to know about me, here goes nothing. I am a bit of a loner. I haven't even dated in several years. The truth is, I've never really liked dating. It feels too much like a job interview to me, which is stressful and makes me feel I have to impress, like I can't just be myself. So, if we ever decide to get together and do anything, just remember - it's not a date. Fair enough? Cool. I'm a bit of a homebody. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows. I also play video games on occasion. My favorites are survival/horror stuff like Resident Evil, Silent Hill & Parasite Eve. I also like the Uncharted games. Usually after I get home from work (third shift, though I don't like the schedule) I let my 2 dogs out (both adopted shelter dogs, ) feed them and then collapse into my computer chair and watch youtube videos for a while before attempting to get some sleep. That's very tough to do on a 3rd shift schedule, at least for me it is. Now, I know what you're thinking. It sounds like a pretty exciting life, right? Not so much, but it's how I get by these days. I'm sure everyone has already clicked off by now, but.... oh, wait. There's one person still reading this? OK, since you're still with me I'll ramble just a little more.
I work a boring warehouse job.
I don't make a lot of money, but I manage it pretty well and don't have a lot of debt. I can generally afford to buy what I want, when I want. I've never really traveled much, though I do like the idea of seeing more places.
I try to avoid drama and those who thrive on it at all costs.
Basically I'm just working for the weekend for the time being. My idea of an awesome retirement is to get a small travel trailer and head out for some camping, stargazing and prospecting in the great American Southwest, most likely Arizona. Oh yeah, about my headline. I am an animal lover by nature and I have been known to stop on the side of the road to help a box turtle get across so it doesn't get squashed. ?
