Why a vegetarian ? I am frequently asked this. It’s because I strongly believe in being healthy, feeling healthy, awakening each morning feeling great, and having that feeling last throughout the day. I do not eat meat, or use drugs, which includes alcohol and tobacco, as well as prescription drugs. I have a lot of respect for vegans and raw foodists. If it wasn’t for occasional cheese and eggs, I would be a vegan. I love to cook, and don’t know if I could enjoy being a raw foodist, but, I do respect them, and their extremely healthy lifestyle.

I eat organic foods, a lot of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, rice, pasta, nuts, and other foods, which create, overall, a very healthy diet. I avoid fried foods, and foods laden with salt and sugar. Whoever said you are what you eat (and drink) was accurate. When you only put healthy things into your body, your body will reward you by feeling good.

Sports (playing and watching) are a passion, including baseball, football, bowling, volleyball, tennis, billiards, among others, and working out. If you’re active, and love to play sports, contact me. Dancing is also fun, but, I will admit it’s not my strength. Maybe you could teach me, and make me a better dancer.

I love to relax, listen to, and talk about music, artists I love, who are my favorites, and what are my favorite songs (wide variety starting with big band, classical, country, dance/disco, easy listening, jazz, pop, rock (early Motown), sixties and seventies classic rock, and today). Cooking is another passion (I've been told I am a very good cook - I've cooked for pretty much everyone I know). I love to cook and am always looking at cooking shows and web sites for recipe ideas.

Who doesn’t enjoy the guilty pleasure of watching TV shows and movies ? I tend to enjoy comedies and dramas. I appreciate TV shows, movies, and people who make me laugh or think.

I am a mellow, happy, healthy, affectionate, loyal, low-key, caring, understanding, funny, educated, dependable, responsible, self-sufficient guy who seeks a nice lady with similar interests, so we can enjoy each other's company, sharing our time and thoughts with each other.

I wish to meet a nice lady, and get to know who she is, on the inside, in her heart and her mind, and get to know truly who she is, and appreciate her personality, quirks, sense of humor, and the characteristics that make her who she is.
