Basic Info: 1) My name is Mike 2) I'm 26 years old 3) I live in Media, PA... excited yet? I know I am!

Profession: I'm a behavioral health worker in an elementary school, which means I counsel and support kids with behavioral and emotional problems. I also work with an after school program. I really do love my job, even though I won't admit it on some days. My future plans include getting my masters in clinical child psychology and possibly opening a practice.

Interests: 1) Sports: football (Eagles), baseball (Phillies), skiing, distance running (I'm training for my 3rd half marathon) 2) traveling: I have been to a few amazing places, but not nearly as many as I'd like. Last summer I went to Nicaragua and that has been my favorite trip so far. Highlights included zip lining trough a jungle and having a monkey jump on my head... I have pictures haha. 3) I have a continued interest in psychology, sociology, and evolutionary psychology... it goes with the job 4) I love to read, although I haven't been making enough time for that lately. If you're interested in a great work of historical fiction, try A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. 4) Maybe this should have been #1 but hanging out with my friends and family is a big part of my life. 5) I enjoy trying new restaurants, hitting up bars in Philly and Manayunk, and having a beer (or jack and coke... or glass of wine... it depends haha)
