Hey everyone. I've been away from the area for about 5 years and now that I'm back I've discovered most of the people I know are gone. So....here I am, going down the road I swore I'd never go down.....using the internet to try to meet people. I'll say up front that I'm looking for friends first and that I'm not looking to jump into a relalationship. I've just gotten out of a long term deal and I've always believed that people need to take time to re-discover themselves in between relationships. Never have understood those who can jump from one directly into another. Now that being said, If I were to meet someone special on here and we took it slow and got to know each other the right way. I'd be all for it. Besides, you should be good friends first anyway, right?
As far as what I like to do........live music, hanging out in the park on a nice day, taking the dog for a long walk, just staying in and having a glass of wine and a good conversation. Honestly, I've a very laid back person that can have fun doing just about anything if I have good company.
I do tend to be a hopeless romantic type of guy but I'm trying to hold back on that these days cause it will get you in trouble. I believe in treating people with respect, being honest, and above all else being yourself. If you cant' be yourself what is the point
