A village or a town?
by DragonToothLAM,Jun/26/2017Well, I have done both, and while a bigger town has many nice things, you never really get the coming home feeling when you return. It is simply too big to welcome you the same way. A village or small town, people care that you came home. Even after 10 or 15 years. You walk into the store, and people remember you. For someone who moved a lot, like I did, the fact people missed me is a big thing.

Just out of town.
by DragonToothLAM,Jun/21/2017Since I like history, SE Colorado has a lot for me. Locally, we have the Grand Theater, and my favorite, Bent's Old Fort about 40 minutes drive outside of town. Bent's Fort has reenactors a lot, and is almost 200 years old. It is an adobe fort built in the 1840s.
